Why This Matters
On January 11, 2026, Senator Scott Wiener—Co-Chair of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus—publicly accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
One week later, the remaining members of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus have said nothing.
Silence is a choice.
We therefore call on every member of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus to publicly correct the record by issuing a clear statement—individually or jointly—rejecting the accusation that Israel is committing genocide. They must state plainly that this claim is false, harmful, and unacceptable, and that such language must be rejected regardless of political pressure. Vague statements or procedural deflection are not sufficient.
If the Jewish Caucus cannot publicly reject the accusation that the Jewish State commits genocide, it does not represent the Jewish community.
Send a message. Demand they take a stand.
